
JobKeeper Subsidy Extension - What you need to know!
On the 21st of July 2020 the Government announced that the JobKeeper Subsidy will be extended to the 28th of March 2021 for eligible businesses. Please note below important changes to the eligibility requirements and payment rates.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for JobKeeper Payments under the extension, businesses and not-for-profits will need to demonstrate an ongoing decline in turnover of 30 per cent or more for those with an aggregated turnover of $1 billion

Single Touch Payroll (STP) Finalisation
A reminder that employers registered for STP are required to submit a finalisation report direct to the ATO via their accounting software by the following due dates: employers with 20 or more employees report due 14 July 2020 employers with 19 or fewer employees due 31 July 2020 Employers with only closely held payees or non-business employers, don't need to start reporting via STP until 1 July 2021.
